Time Served Cabinet Maker
We currently have a vacancy for the above position.
The successful applicant, must have achieved a high level in furniture and joinery skills, an understanding for design, and a keen eye for detail.
You will be able to work as part of a small team, and as an individual craftsperson, when required to do so.
The projects you will be involved in, will be varied from standard items of furniture, to bespoke projects for clients worldwide.
Working week – 40 hours
29 days annual paid holiday, inclusive of the usual public holidays in England and Wales.
Salary – Potential to earn in excess of £33,000 per annum depending upon experience.

Wood Machinist
We currently have a vacancy for the above position.
The successful applicant, must have previous experience of working with a variety of woodworking machines, for a period of, a minimum of five years.
They will have received health and safety training, and hold certificates for the safe use, and setting up, of several woodworking machines.
It is important that the applicant is able to understand working drawings, and possess a fine eye for detail.
Working Week – 40 hours
Holidays – 29 days annual paid leave inclusive of the usual public holidays in England and Wales.
Salary – Will be dependent upon experience.

Cabinet Making 4 Year Apprenticeship
Potential applicants will be preferably aged between 16 and 18 years of age, have had experience within the woodworking industry by way of a school / college coursework or be currently employed within the woodworking industry and have previous experience in the use of hand tools.
Applicants applying for the position of apprentice cabinet maker should forward a copy of their CV enclosing images of items they have personally made from start to finish along with contact details of at least two professional persons (not members of own family) who will vouch for the applicant.
Job interviews will be undertaken in our offices at Kilburn village, Nr Thirsk, North Yorkshire, followed by a conducted tour of our workshops. Successful applicants will be expected to provide their own transport to and from work, supply their own drinks, lunch plus snacks on a daily basis and wear all personal protective equipment (PPE) provided whilst on site.
Our traditional cabinet making apprenticeship lasts for a minimum of four years, with each apprentice assigned to a Master Craftsmen for the four year training period.
Our working week consists of 40 hours Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm and Friday 8am to 3.45pm. Holidays consist of 29 days annual paid leave including public holidays and annual workshop closures.
