At this time of year, as the trees become bare and the ground hard with frost, it is pleasant to dream of travel to balmy shores. With that in mind, I thought that readers would be interested to hear the story of one item of Mouseman furniture that, for several decades, has travelled the globe with its owners, taking in some very exotic locations before returning to North Yorkshire. Our company has a long tradition of supplying furniture overseas, which means that the mouse may be found as far afield as South Africa, USA and even the Parliament building of Tonga!

Mouseman furniture and our smaller items make wonderful gifts that become more precious over the years. It’s wonderful to think that many of the Mouseman presents that will be received this Christmas are destined to travel the country, or indeed the world, with their owners in years to come.   Ian Thompson Cartwright
